Meet the founder
Deep Guha
Chef. Host. Event planner. The person who imagined Jaamun as an evening you could feel, not just a place you could visit.
Why Jaamun began
Some careers follow a straight line. Deep's was never meant to.
Deep holds a medical degree, but his instinct has always been to bring people together. Food became his language for doing that. He grew into a master chef with the curiosity of a doctor: attentive to detail, interested in how every element works together, and never satisfied with treating only the obvious.
Years spent planning events taught him something equally important. A memorable night is not created by a menu alone, or a beautiful room, or even a great performer. It happens when the food, music, people and pace of the evening all belong to the same story.
Jaamun began from that idea. Deep wanted to build the sort of place he would choose for his own friends: generous, personal and full of life. A place where dinner can turn into music, a party can still feel intimate, and hosts are free to enjoy their own celebration.
Today, he brings the same spirit beyond Jaamun's walls. Whether the evening happens at the venue or at someone's doorstep, Deep and his team plan it as a whole—from the first plate and the first note to the moment the last guest leaves.
For Deep, the best evenings never feel manufactured. They feel as though everything simply came together for the people in the room.
